Chestler and 2 Regional Directors – Danny McCafferty, Director, South East Asia and Olivier Tombeur, Director, Benelux – to support the company’s global growth strategy focusing on the Americas, Benelux and South East Asia markets.

Great Hotels of the World, acquired by leading technology provider GuestCentric in 2018, provides its member hotels with cutting edge marketing, sales and technology services while leveraging its global positioning to provide access to strategic buyers Worldwide.

As a renowned hospitality brand since 2004, particularly in the MICE and Corporate markets, GHOTW’s strategy has been to increase and broaden the level of services and value it brings to member hotels while expanding its geographical footprint. Since the beginning of the year, 7 new hotels have been added to the collection in premiere destinations such as Brazil, Greece, Morocco, the Philippines, Portugal and Spain. On the Sales front, the sales events calendar has been significantly increased, and strategic partnerships have been signed with leading providers of hotel technology and solutions.

David B. Chestler most recently served as an Allied Board Member at HEDNA.org, HTNG and HFTP member, and previously held senior positions at SiteMinder, Sceptre Hospitality Resources (SHR), RateGain, Pegasus Solutions, Birch Street Systems and Onstream Media (ONSM; Nasdaq). Based in the US, where consumer trends clearly point towards a growing interest in independent and authentic hotels, David Chestler (Board Member) brings to Great Hotels of the World a wealth of hospitality expertise and specifically a focus on technology.

Danny McCafferty is a leading international hospitality executive with a solid track record of managing outstanding city hotels and resorts in four continents and in a wide range of cultures

and environments, including senior executive positions at management and corporate vice president levels with Mandarin Oriental, Dusit Hotels & Resorts, Dorchester Group, Centara Hotels & Resorts and Trust House Forte London Division.

Danny McCafferty, Director, South East Asia will be covering Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and Singapore.

Olivier Tombeur Director, Benelux, has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, managing Sales and Marketing teams for some of the most renowned luxury hotel brands in the world, such as Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Warwick Hotels & Resorts, Concorde Hotels & Resorts and Hilton. His career spans multiple destinations including the United Arab Emirates, France, Monaco, Belgium and Luxembourg.
